My collection of antler sheds, so far.

My uncle, Stan Chomey's monster buck he took a few years back.

He tells me this was the first deer he had shot in quite a few years, as he was Principal of a school in northern Saskatchewan, and didn't have a whole lot of time to hunt.

Although he is retired now, and has taken up farming as a "hobby", he still works way too hard. When he does take some time for himself, he does enjoy hunting, and what a buck to take to celebrate your retirement!

The antlers he is holding, which was killed with his more often than not, "one shot kill", weighed in the 300 lb. area. The rack scored 179 7/8 gross non-typical, and netted 163 5/8.

Keep checking back for updates on his collection, as I hope to convince him to do a lot more hunting and a "little" less working!
